With its plethora of world-class restaurants, retailers and cultural attractions, Dallas is a contender in luxury travel. The city's high-end hotels are as diverse as they are stunning. There's something for everyone — executives, families, couples, art enthusiasts, spa aficionados — looking for a luxe getaway.

The Adolphus Hotel, Autograph Collection

Built in the late 1880s as a palatial Beaux Arts-inspired hotel, the Adolphus recently underwent a multimillion-dollar investment and renovation. As of 2018, downtown Dallas' first luxury hotel is officially back in business with upgrades that catapult it into the modern era. The rooftop pool offers stunning views and upscale spa amenities. The French Room Salon, adorned with Greek sculptures and a restored vaulted barrel ceiling, is a beautiful place to sip tea from fine china.

Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas

A short jaunt northwest of downtown Dallas brings you to the lush region of Las Colinas, where the Spanish-colonial-style Four Seasons Resort and Club stands. This property is decidedly more laid-back than other Four Seasons locations. It boasts two world-class golf courses and a full roster of other wellness amenities. The stately villas are perfect for families, golfing buddies or a wedding party.

Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

Tucked away in the woodsy Turtle Creek neighborhood, the Rosewood Mansion was once the home of oil heiress Caroline Rose Hunt, who transformed the property into a boutique hotel in 1980. It has since become an icon of Dallas luxury, where celebrities and socialites mingle. The Mansion Bar offers inventive cocktails and delicious food — be sure to try the world-famous tortilla soup.

The Joule

The Joule, an aptly named downtown Dallas gem, recently underwent a full renovation, and the revamped hotel is now trendier, funkier and bigger than ever. There's a new spa, a Taschen library, a coffee shop, a brasserie and retail stores. Old-fashioned features mix with modern details in Adam D. Tihany's design, creating a dynamic luxury hotel experience that's within walking distance to the Dallas Arts District.

Hotel ZaZa in Dallas Uptown

In Dallas' fashionable Uptown neighborhood, luxury and boutique hotel charm coalesce at Hotel ZaZa. Equal parts stylish and easygoing, ZaZa is the ideal destination for Texas travelers looking for a weekend getaway to relax or get rowdy. Stay in one of the seven concept suites, including the Far East, Metropolitan or Out of Africa.
