Bill Kearney is the editor-in-chief of American Way magazine and editorial director overseeing the American Airlines' Celebrated Living and Nexos publications.

After graduating from Gettysburg College with a degree in English, he traveled, working as an environmental educator and ski instructor in the U.S. and as an English teacher in Taiwan. He began his media career in New York as a television producer with Barbara Walters at The View, transitioning to print and online journalism in Miami with roles as the Miami editor of online men’s magazine Thrillist.com and deputy editor of Ocean Drive magazine.

Bill has also enjoyed a freelance career as a writer and television producer, creating documentary content for outlets such as the Food Network and National Geographic International, and penning stories for national and international publications such as Wallpaper*, Food Republic, Sport Fishing magazine, the Miami Herald and the Miami New Times.
