With its beautiful coral reefs and talcum-powder beaches, the Cayman Islands has long been a destination for those seeking the perfect Caribbean getaway. Covering 76 square miles, Grand Cayman is by far the largest and most developed of the three islands, boasting world-class resorts, fancy shops and upmarket restaurants and bars. It also has great dive sites, golf courses and an undeveloped interior to explore, so it’s not too difficult to avoid the cruise-ship crowds. Just remember that although the Caymans feel very American, it is technically a British Overseas Territory; they drive on the left.
